DAMN! whats the story on this one? where'd ya find an instant library collection?
A little while back I came across a guy selling a Standard Music Library Set, (which I ended up winning for $5) on ebay, originally in the message it stated local pick up only, so I contacted him and said I would be in his state the following week, he offered to post, but as the package would have been quite heavy I opted to go with the pick up, when I called him I also asked if he had any more records, he said he still had quite a lot more (he had been a sound designer for a television company), but had sold a complete set of de wolfe to one buyer as a lot (which i correctly guessed was a melbourne dealer) but no one had been allowed to go through the remainder as he was concerned that they would weed out all the decent stuff and leave him with the left overs, so I said I would take a look and offer him an amount for what was left if it looked like it was going to be worth it. I organized for a friend that I had been digging with for 10 or so years to drive over with me as there were too many to post or carry on a plane, so we did a road trip Sun/Mon and bought the collection (for around $1 a record), I have been waiting to finally find a haul of library records for years!
Rich, that Florida Spiritualaires lp will fetch you 75-100 bucks on Ebay. Unless you're keeping it (it's one i've always been on the fence about getting rid of).
September/october LP and some 45. They're field finds, exc. ESG. The Bob Marley is dead mint both cover and vinyl.
All OG's except the Chet Baker, which is (sadly) not the 1959 pressing but the later (Italian) release on Joker.
how is that Ray Camacho? Almost pulled the trigger, but got disgusted by the every other record in the place and stormed out of there empty handed.
2-3 good tracks in my estimation....instrumental version of "Sunshine Superman" being the best....had a coupon or else I would have passed too.....already sold it cheap to someone here.
You should not have passed on the loner folk LP though.

I'll grab it next time I see it, just out of curiosity.

The Marva Hodge tune has a great break:
Upper right corner is a teen-age Sandy Bull's first LP.
