As nobody seems to know what it track it is in the clip - not even the producer of this movie, I'm trying to rebuild this track together with a friend.
Can anybody point me in the direction how to rebuilt this track sound wise? What kind of vst sytnth would be appropriate?
Any tips for the sound design?

NI Pro-53 would be the place to start, and possibly finish. There a track on a comp I have somewhere that has a similar beat/break including congas right at the beginning, possibly similar enough to chop correctly. If I have time I'll have a look for it but it may have been culled.
Peace
Please keep the tips coming!
Your help would be highly appreciated!
For the djs in your local club so that they can play it out just for you.
This.
B/W
Sounds like a plain old square wave going through a phaser effect.
I don't have this particular compilation anymore.
It had stuff like "Ten Percent" by Double Exposure, "Love is you" by Carol Williams, "Dreamin" by Loletta Hollway.
Try one of those for the drum sounds/ opening break you're looking for.
Best of Luck.
Please do it. I also spent some time trying to find out what track it was but never went so far to ask any people involved with that movie. I want that track too. Can't help you with rebuilding tips but can ask somebody who could know.
I guess the hardest part is finding someone who can sing that correctly.
What will the title be - "Danz of ze D??iville"?
We already managed to rebuild the beat, percussion, bass and the synth parts. So far it sounds quite close.
To get the vocals right seems to be a hard task indeed. The lyrics are hard to make out.
lyrics i made out:
"There was the dance of the devil
and the times of god
the feelings for you ...
...
... afraid of the dark
great desire for the daylight
... woman smile"
Can anyone understand a bit more?
the feelings for you tease
refuse to hold your keys
refuse to hold your gaze
That would make more sense :cheese:
That sounds right! Thanks!
let me know when you release it!
Someone somewhere has gotta have the hook up.
We need to mount an email campaign to Landau.
