I am finding myself in NYC a day earlier than planned without a room and was wondering I'd you guys could recommend a place in brooklyn or manhattan with a decent room for 100-150... What websites are the best for this?

    jane's supposed to be cheap. it's one of those "hip", "boutique" hotels.

    You should try Yotel. Clean and the price is right, and it's not quite as snug as you might expect from the descriptions.
