whether it's paid in full or nuthin but a g thang or stairway or whatever,
refusing to let others tell you what is played out is one of those inalienable mind-garden rights.
isn't it?
i think it's a canard that a good track can be ruined forever
There's a ton of classic R&B tracks that have been played out to my ears, but some tracks, for whatever reason, just don't wear out in the same way. ATBGO stays fresh for me, as does Ain't No Stopping, S.O.S. Take Your Time, After the Love Has Gone, and plenty of others.
I could do without Superfreak and Brick House, just to name a couple obvious ones from the other side of the coin.

It's not ruined. It's just not a revelation that needs to be vj'd.
Its all in context. If you werent around when it was on the radio every day three times a day, and came upon it later, it might still remain fresh for someone.
