This is not one of them.

spun that stuff to a pack of uk and other kids last week here in the city and had so much fun, will do that again.

    hahahahaha

  • I don't know much about Dubstep, but a friend of mine played me this recently which I really enjoyed:

The album this track comes off flows really well, I heard a gapless version of it & thought it was one continuous electronic symphony.

  • not sure i understand this Dubstep stuff.
Was recently asked if i could spin some. my reply was to hold up a studio one collection i had brought. dude was as blank as i was when asked to play dubstep.

This is such a good tune. Proto-techno. There was a good Radio Slave edit of this a couple of years ago, too.

I first heard it on another mix by DK & DJ Food... the first 'official' Solid Steel mix CD called Now Listen. More than happy to hear it appear on another DK mix though! I love the sustained keys at the very beginning.

that's more like hipster electro type business.... it's more at a house tempo than dubstep is...

ps, most of the "dubstep" posted in this thread sucks balls...

Others may disagree (Duder, Moke and Ulysses know waaaay more about this type of music) but for anyone interested in the genre I always think the 5 Years of Hyperdub compilation gives a decent starters guide to the scene for anyone interested, at least the head nodding end if not the club friendly stuff. However it did come out a year and a half ago and anything over a week old in electronic music is dated and no longer relevant so probably best not to namedrop it in social circles. Certainly more accurate than a lot of the stuff posted in this thread anyway.
