Jailbreaking your iPhone

Can someone recommend a good site w/ info on jailbreaking your iPhone. I usually jailbreak mine myself but for some odd reason I can't get my phone to go into DFU mode....any suggestions on a good step by step DIY detailed website? I usually use redsn0w once I get my phone into DFU mode. Thanks for any info..

    How do I unlock my 3Gs so that I can sell it now that I've upgraded??

    I have redsn0w listed in my original post as the program I usually use however for some odd reason my phone wont go into DFU mode....plus redsn0w is a tethered jailbreak meaning every time you reboot or power off your phone you will need to connect your phone to a comp and reboot off of redsn0w....so until they have a untethered version I am cool w/ that....is there now a untethered version?

    Sell it as is and let the buyer worry about unlocking it...
