For those that don't know, metro NewOrleans has
many of it's "jewish-jewish-jewish" establishments
right next to the major housing projects.
Anyway, that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Love how our local kids are so steeped in bounce music
that they sound like dj jimi right out of the box.
I sat next to a Black woman last night at my synangogue. I don't know who she was. Matter of fact I didn't know a cotdamn person in there last night; lots of young couples with kids running around. All my old schul homies are grown up and moved away I guess. Sorta depressing. New prayer books this year though, complete with gender-neutral Hebrew word for the Almighty. About damn time; those old books were from the late 60's....
