Sticky Fingers Cover

This cover is pissing me off.
The stupid zipper tab ruins the cover of any record this is next to.

How do people deal with this sticky situation?

What was Warhol thinking?

    A plastic bag over the cover has worked for me

    I never really bothered with clear plastic sleeves for records - probably should have, in hindsight, but I don't see me getting the habit at this age. Anyway, the one and only time I made a conscious exception was when I bought The Return Of The Durutti Column in 1980, because it came in a sandpaper sleeve (assembled by the members of Joy Division, according to Wikipedia) designed solely with the intention of fucking up everything on either side of it when it was amongst your records.

    Asha Puthli claims that she came up with the original inspiration for the cover; not necessarily its literal design but the idea of showcasing a penis, as an outrageous joke but then, according to her, Warhol took the idea and ran with it (the two were friends).

    Not the penis that's damaging covers. Doesn't stick out like the zipper tab.
