That Julie Felix is THA SHYT!!! And Cedric Brooks rocks, but why did you post a snippet man. Don't you have the full track? Or better yet, if you could show me the LP where it's from.
Daaaam... I'm still trying to get past drewn's Smokey joint that set this whole thread off! Well, while I start clicking on some of these other facemelters, here's one that'll melt your face for a whole different reason... Jackie Wilson and Laverne Baker "Think Twice"

HOLY CHRIST! what year did this come out!?!?!?!??!?
were they the 2 Live crew of yesteryears? that's awesome! lmao, i was listening to all these tunes and this track came on and i thought i heard "before u call me a dirty whore" and then i thought, nah its an old funk song, so maybe she said "before u call me a dirty oar" and perhaps "oar" was lingo back in the day for i dont know...a dirty oar, like a dirty oar would affect the efficiency of making a boat row or some stupid shit like that, so i concluded yeah she said "before u call me a dirty oar" and what's the next line?
"i've got news for u little boy, dont fuck with me no more" hahah and it goes into coke and weed and pussy, damn...too bad its on low khz, face melt indeed!
I love the melody and haunting feeling of this track, echo fx on the vocals, interplay with the female choir and the string arrangement. Is it just me or is there a bit of a Papa Was A Rolling Stone bite in those strings?

I'm feeling most of the tracks being posted (including Ayers Rock), but especially the sweeter ones. Nice one on the Smokey that set it off. Lovely!
I think I'll contribute with some sweetnuss too. Recently bought this and I've been playing it over and over ever since:
Jorge Ben - Errare Humanum Est
