The 70s Rhythm Combination & Brass catalog is heat. Great musicians/tunes/arrangements.
"Wide Open" has got to be somewhere in the top 5 in the "funky big band" category.

RIP... great improviser, band-leader (he even had some american legends in the mix like art farmer)and his albums are consistently good.
