youngEINSTEIN Said:yes, it's very late at night around 4 a.m. i'm in a port town in spain back in pirate days. i'm walking around the buildings next to the sea but not on the ground. all the building have an elaborate system of bridges and elevated walkways but i can't get off of the walkways or get down to the ground or the sea. but, i am content and at peace. there are no people or ship/boats to be seen. the only life around are cats searching for food. i've had this dream at least monthly my whole life.peace, stein. . .

i get shot in the right leg while I jump behind a log during armageddon robot attack stuff...sometimes with a race to get out of the factory.

pure garbage action movie climax cliche...but yeah.

I WISH it was on some Spanish pirate stuff...

When I was growing up everynight I had this dream where it was like a camera on a tripod was filming from the middle of the road and I was in the back seat of this woodgrain station wagon being driven off into the distance.

I'm beasting an albino amputee and her mom brings in an avocado pie coated in dried milk. The parrot eats some, keels over twitching and Japanese porn actress Selina Kyle feeds some chocloate covered onions to a dog whilst dressed in NAGL jeans. There's some ambient electronic music in the background which I can't quite place, but it hasn't dated at all.
I've been having this dream for about the last 5 minutes.

As long as I can remember I've had a dream where I've got some sort of jet pack and I'm flying right above the tree's. I love that shit. Hopefully I get a jet pack in the near future, that would be dope.

When I was a kid I had a serious bout of viral bronchitis that created a weird recurring nightmare type thing that popped up whnever I was sick thereafter...

I would be sitting on a beautifil beach with pristine golden sand... then it wouls start raining and where ever the droplets hit would kind of burn away - like it was acid rain - to complete blackness... the sand, trees, my leg... whereever the rain landed. It would rain heavier and heavier and bits of my arms and stuff would be eaten away. I was 10 or something so that used to freak the hell outta me.

On the flip side I used to be a real crap sleeper too and used to be able to rewind my dreams to replay something cool or change something I didn't like... like a semi concious choose your own adventure. It was wicked.

  • here are two recurring nightmares i have had over the past 20 years:

    1. my teeth are falling out. actually, it is more like the teeth are coming apart in shards and i am spitting them out whilst i look for a dentist to fix them (i never find the dentist).

    2. i lose my shoes or they are stolen. often this entails me having to walk on a side walk covered in broken glass or sharp objects as i am trying to recover my shoes (i never find them)

I read somewhere that this is a very common dream. It does mean something but I can't remember what. I've actually had it myself. It's probably stress related.

Ive never had this but i read that this is a good way to achieve lucid dreaming. Once you establish your in the dream then the only limitation is your own imagination.

So you could actually get that jetpack & skel can make his freak fantasies a reality...sort of.

i've never had a reoccuring dream, but you know how when in your dream you're about to meet a terrible fate and then you wake up right before it happens? well, one time i had a dream and i actually got killed in the dream. yep, driving down the street and got caught in the crossfire between some drug dealers or whatever... i saw dude about to shoot but it was too late... the bullet went right through the windshield and caught me in the forehead, i slumped onto the steering wheel... dead as a doornail, but i could still see everything going on around me. ain't that some schitt lolol

  • i have a recurring dream in which i open my mouth, it gets stuck open, and when i am finally able to get force it closed, my jaw muscles/bone burst(s) and blood shoots out of my mouth exorcist-style.

I had one of those when I was a teenager. I was in a building hit by some kind of missile, a scud or something, and I died in the explosion. The rest of my dream was spent trying to figure out what the afterlife was all about. As near as I could tell it involved vast expanses of desert wasteland and lugging around a 30 lb. burlap sack containing a green jello-type concoction, which was apparently all the dead were allowed to eat. I remember trying to warn my living relatives that the afterlife sucked and to stay alive as long as possible and enjoy good food.

thats so weird i have a similar recurring dream but in different scenarios where this person i know hooks his finger in the roof of my mouth and leads me all over the place like that. every dream is different and we are always some where interesting but i'm always being led around like that by him in that recurring way. it's very odd. then by the end of the dream i'm still still hooked on and sometimes i wake up and have jaw pain. i would say i have one of those dreams once a month at least. i have tried to analyze this i think it's very odd.

i attribute mine to teeth and jaw issues that i've had since i was a child. that's just one recurring dream that i have. i also have a recurring dream about rotten/breaking teeth that originates from inside the mouth (the dream is basically from the p.o.v. of inside the mouth) and one about having an animal in bed. fun stuff.

I have had some recurring dreams, but more interestingly, I have a recurring dream setting that has popped up in a few dreams that are unrelated other than the fact that they all take place in this same house. Also interesting: Stuff that I do to the house in my dream (my friends and I writing on the walls, for example) carries over to the next dream I have set in that house. It's odd, but it's also a little bit creepy because the house is a little bit creepy.

it is said that dreams about breaking or crumbling teeth have to do with fears of losing power and inner strength and growing old. a lot of people have dreams of their teeth crumbling or falling out when they have recently had a death of someone close to them too.

All my dreams have REOCCURING themes. Usually me being in a school, hotel, office building, or other semi public areas, having to duck security. All I want is what's mine and I get chased out every time. Fortunately there's usually a romantic subplot but don't worry, i never woke up with my underwear superglued to my abdomen.

i have this one where everyone is saying "reoccuring" instead of "recurring," and I get super pissed off... My therapist says it has something to do with my nitpickery and my inability to just forget about stuff.

I would like to point out that I used "recurring." I too am a nitpicker.

in my dream, I have only one friend. His teeth fall out as he blasts away into the acid rain on a jetpack. And so it goes.
