Track ID please Help

This weekend i??ve been flipping??thru old Tapes and heard this Instrumental Version of Barry??s "Im gonna love you a little bit more, baby", played mostly Sax, Guitar solo, solid funky Drums. The guy who did the tape told me it could be Cannonball Adderly, but I don??t think so.Any idea who might be?Can??t post the track because of lack of equipment to get it digitized)
