From his MPS days it's "The Inner Source". Currently listening to "My Soul", what a beauty!Out of his popfusion releases on Epic I'll probably have to pick "Brazilian Love Affair".
Big, big fan of I>The Aura Will Prevail/I> and I>I Love the Blues, She Heard My Cry, plus all his work with Zappa--his solos on Roxy & Elsewhere/I> and I>One Size Fits All/I> =
Anyway, I have said it before and I'm gonna say this again. Brazilian Love Affair is the perfect record for me. All the tunes are great and I keep coming back to it again and again. Too bad the extra track Caxanga, which is on the cd version of this, is not on the record.

I like his stuff with Cannonball Adderley better than any of his solo work tho.
I love the blues, she heard my cry - "Someday", "that's what she said"
Rendezvous - "Your Life", "Got to get back to love", "secret rendezvous"

Also, "Tha Aura Will Prevail" and I'll add on the "Feel" LP.

I've put this song on alot of jazz mixes... the bongo solo still makes my hands shake.
You know it's pretty easy to get that treated.
