No these are garage dudes from Florida circa '66. It's pretty special though and I highly recommend it! I was about to attempt to rip it tonight for my ipod, but I just found out about this "rapidshare" thing that apparently has everything on it.

We the People did the original version of 'In the Past' which was covered by the Chcolate Watchband, as well as the garage punk classic 'You Burn Me Up and Down'.
tonight i had on the el michaels tribute to black godfather record. then i put on the Nas - Hip Hop Is Dead lp (never actually listened to this album before, got a cheap 2LP promo and decided now was the time. theres some neat tracks later on.)
earlier had a nice glass of Rioja at a family dinner. now its just coke and/or h2o.
