just saw coolie high for the first time. brenda was fine! great style too, i had the Preach thing going on without knowing it. nice soundtrack as well, wished i saw it years ago, it would have gotten me into the music a lot earlier.

    i went into it thinking it was a comedy actually when things evolved(i had no background knowledge whatsoever). also inititally i thought the time period was of when the movie was made (75) but i see it was set earlier. i loved the ending. also i never knew when boys II men did "its so hard..." that it was a cover. having it played at the scene makes the song more eerie for me as it was played for my buddy's funeral. great film!

    black American Graffiti pretty much nails it (in a positive way, both were great flicks)
