Top commonly misunderstood hip hop lyrics

I know this has probably been brought up before, but it's so classic that it's coming back round whether you like it or not. I got a kick outta hearing people singing some hip hop lyrics incorrectly the other day, and thought I'd start this post.
Here is my contribution, it's a hook I sang wrong early on in highschool til I actually got the LP and noticed the name:
Tribe Called Quest - Award Tour: ".......We're on Award tour with...."blah blah,
Way tons of people actually sing it: ".....We're on a World Tour with..."blah [/b]
It's so tricky cause context wise, "a World tour" actually makes sense and is basically the double meaning. Still wrong though.

for years this drove me crazy. my friends and i used just yell this shit in the hallways at school. calling each other "ya dingy." A couple years ago i looked the lyrics up on line and it said "fake is what it be, do ya dig me?"
I liked it better when it didnt make sense.
"sittin on volvo's" (my chick asked me why he's sittin on volvo's)
"i'm in a six four.. rag to be exact" (rag.. not red as ego trip states)
some of Keak's stuff
and alot of dirty south lyrics confuse me also..i cant think of any song in particular at this moment
BTW...anybody got a MP3 of .. 8ball & Mjg - Pimps ?.....i'm not soulseek literate
Always though that was:
"relax yourself girl be set clear.[/b]"
which in retrospect makes no sense, at all.
i thought it was "settle down"
this sounds about right
It is.
"I got P's on my wall and I aint talkin' bout pictures" (is this 'Do or Die'??)
Anyway, I understand what the guy is saying, but I don't know what he means. Does anyone?
that's real close to what I thought it was:
"relax yourself girrrl be so clear"
right, yeah the MC who's talking bout being in prison. I was never sure what the P's meant either.
Maybe some roudy inmates P'd all over his wall. Poor guy.
"my n*gga tone loc is dead..."
I always thought dude was saying "I got pieces on my wall", but who knows.
astroplane????
"Relax yourself girl, preset plan."
i remember reading that in an interview. makes no sense though.
It's astral plane
According to Q-Tip in Ego Trip's Book of Rap Lists, it's "Relax yourself, girl please settle down[/b]."
Ok now that makes sense then.
K.
I always heard it as "please sekkle down."
same ting pon de song, rudebwoi
It sounds like "Diamond D, trees in forest, rappers try to diss i crush the motherfuckers" but the first part doesn't make any sense...
I always thought it was this too. Definitely makes no sense.
On a semi related note, I thought for the longest time that Paul Simon was saying 'She's a slut' instead of 'Jesus loves you'. I kept thinking that was a little risque!
DJ Ferrari
The cut is from "i'm not playing" by ultimate force.
"i was raised in forest"
".......lives in forest....." as in Forest Projects in the Bronx.
"....hit em with the force like Obie, dick black like Kobe???"
I think we all know it's really saying: "relax yourself girl, Peace Out Premiere
i always thought it was pre-sent (as in, present) plan. no sense makes tho.
Yup. thats what I hear clear as day
I finally had to google it to realize it was "cowardly hearts"
