font class="post"1b, 21b, 21Nah a lot of these artists aren't actively soliciting gigs, they just have their name on the list, just in the chance that someone might want to give them a booking.
b, 21Jef I know Santi's shit skyrocketed... Sorry I couldn't help you with that. ::why must i cry::

font class="post"1b, 21aside from the great reviews, after opening up for Coldplay and then the Beastie Boys, it only makes sense. Especially for a one-off.b, 21b, 21If there's any band that is currently on tour and could work it into their routing you may be able to work out a better guarantee, but it's easier said then done if you're not a reputable promoter.

font class="post"1b, 21Pretty Polly is a middle buyer that usually works between colleges, other venues and booking agents.b, 21those numbers are not definite
font class="post"1b, 21what up Cos?b, 21Speaking of Santi, i just stumbled across this track on the interwebs a href="http://www.zshare.net/audio/5215904141e40145/" target="_blank"1Brooklyn Go Hard/a1
Almost all the rap shot on this list is beyond double what an artist would get IF anyone even wanted to book them.b, 21b, 21I don't get this site. You wanna book us- holler at the agency group NYCb, 21There is no set fee, it almost always depends on the circumstances.b, 21b, 21b, 21Check pollstar

font class="post"1b, 21b, 21again - these guys are a middle buyer between people that don't often promote shows or colleges and the acts' agents.b, 21most agencies (including the Agency Group) have dealt with Pretty Polly on occasion.b, 21They basically bring accountability and some organization to the table since the person buying the show usually doesn't have an established resume of promoting shows, handling artists, sound set-ups, etc.b, 21When you have no reputation as a promoter and you just call the agency to book a specific client, your message often gets lost in the shuffle.b, 21b, 21going through this list is not a set guide at all and this process is not the most typical, although not uncommon.b, 21i imagine most agents would not appreciate seeing estimated guarantees of their clients posted on a website.b, 21it's always a negotiation and there's different circumstances that play into the guarantee.

font class="post"1b, 21b, 21how much for you guys to perform in my living room while i eat a bowl of cereal? i would also like the 40 drinking hypeman with the fur lined hooded alaska winter jacket. and i would also provide the beer.
For you - like 46.00$ USb, 21b, 21b, 21I was just trying to point out that this list is like looking at real estate asking prices and not comps in trying to find the value of your home.b, 21b, 21People can ask for whatever amount they want. Doesn't mean they'll get it or ever have gotten it. City, venue, day of the week, one off or tour stop, album release timing, etc. can all account for wildly varying fluctuations in the guarantee an artist (agent) can negotiate. b, 21b, 21I wouldn't let this list discourage you if there was someone you wanted to book and they appeared out of budget.

font class="post"1b, 21b, 21horrible. in between songs, they will just play songs like "ante up" or other boom bap-hits, scream "yall remember the 90s!!!!" and scream along to the hooks, for 20 seconds, then go into another song

b, 21Are you the promoter? You got skills when it comes to the show settlement? That is how you make money and get your expenses back. Put EVERY crazy show cost you can in the settlement. Keep it gangster. The promoter I work with has two outdoor venues where we do summer concert series. You should hear some of the stuff we tell the artists tour manager and production manager. If it rains we tell them we're charging them for washing their busses and trucks! LOL. You gotta have fun with this shit.
