b, 21b, 21no, it's the only NON portable external hard drive ever made. It comes in a casing that weighs 750 lbs.

  • It only runs on IBM 386's running Dos

b, 21b, 21Not a good buy... A lot of manufacturers are going for that biggest HD you can fit into a package for the least amount of money. They don't really give the specs upfront (on the lesser passport models, none of the most important specs are not on the outside of the packaging). Then when you take the drive home, you realize that its slow and you can't daisy-chain, etc...b, 21b, 21I guess it all depends on what you use it for, but I wouldn't try music/video or backing up to that drive.b, 21b, 21just my 0.02.

For what its worth, I have a regular ole Passport and have had no efficiency problems... I listen to music off it all the time - I don't normally watch video off it but I have - and have never had any complaints about it.b, 21b, 21I have never DJ'ed with it (or any other hard drive), however.
