I'm going to be in Boston during the week of thanksgiving and wanted to see if someone would recommend something to do or somewhere to go. b, 21Like where do all the kids hangout? b, 21What a good bar? b, 21What are the places that soul strutters should avoid? b, 21Where does Matt Damon live? b, 21b, 21What about cambridge? Won't be able to hang out (what with work, family, and jetting on Sat. am...)b, 21b, 21but, if you want to hear soul music, go to Zuzu on Saturday night for Soullelujah. Best soul night in town... fills up early, and gets real packed.b, 21b, 21That's in Central Sq.b, 21b, 21Also in Central sq, you can get a drink at the Miracle of Science or Green St (which my dude owns...) I frequent the latter, and it gets the highest recommendation possible.b, 21b, 21what else?b, 21b, 21i dunno... Chez Henri is good for food. Harvard square is good for walking around, but may suck dong the day after thanksgiving. b, 21b, 21If you want to buy records, go to In Your Ear in Alston, next to the Agganis Arena- if, of course, it is still open. I am mad img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/game02vy9.gif" alt="" /1...b, 21b, 21Harvard has some nice, cambridge based museums that are probably closed for rennovation. Just a heads up... through a typo, I wrote it as, 'miracle of science of green st.' when that should have been OR Green st.b, 21b, 21But, this is a good moment for an FYI...b, 21b, 21Miracle of Science is an MIT bar, so you'll get some heavy college in there. I like it, but be warned.b, 21b, 21Green St. is not a college/academic joint. Just a nice bar, run and owned by some young people who know good music, collect records, and the owner of which has named a cocktail after hometown Cambridge dude Patrick Ewing.b, 21b, 21Obviously, it gets my vote, but you can explore... i love cambridge, so have some fun.
