It would be a damn cool project to photo every single cover in my collection, and some peers in the neighborhood, and make a photo mosaic of one super record (Gerry Rafferty City to City?). mosaic would be 300 x 300 covers. No 2 covers in mosaic can be identical.
THEN. print it out, and make a life size replica with the actual album covers. You would need to be 1/4 mile away to see the big picture. (it would be 400x400 feet)
some of those records fucking suck! great jackets though... and its nice to see peoples collections.

and you probably do have a better modern soul collection than i do. i just pick stuff up when i see it for $1 at the flea market. i dont go out looking for it. plus i wouldnt put marvin gaye or gladys knight in the modern soul category like you would. im still interested in hearing what you have though...
lastly, i never said i was a modern soul GOD... i like modern soul music but am not after it like you are. sweet soul and group soul records, bay area records, and soulful/funky gospel are what i smack kids around with (that and multiple copies of Pi-R Square).

Yup sounds like Cerritos. I'm in in good ole SFS about 2 cities over. Cerritos is full of diggers. The yard sales are the things to hit up in Cerritos they have mad rares.
