After many months of complications and illnesses following a series of strokes, Nathaniel left us November 1, 2008. He will always be in our hearts.

    damn, RIP. I saw him open for the Sun Ra Arkestra in Lexington, KY in 2005. He put on quite a show.

    I actually opened for Nathaniel in 2005 with my own band! It was not long after that CD he did on Fat Possum came out. Got to hang out with him backstage, the whole etcetera. I am just now finding out about this...R.I.P..
