font class="post"1b,121b,121Oh god...I hate that part because that's when that demonic Misfits face flashes on screen out of nowhere. That face haunted me way longer than any cross masturbation or devil vomit head spinning scene did. William Friedkin was a genius for incorporating that subliminal crap

He was a crazy sadist if the stories are true. The scene where Blair is flailing around in the bed is done with her in a brace and someone whipping her around from behind the headboard - apparently she was in tears from pain and dude would not let up. Burstyn tells this story about her being whipped across the room in the wardrobe scene and her asking them to take it easy, Friedkin says OK, but at the very last second she catches him giving the prop (stunt?) guy a look and they just go all out on her again.

Htichcock was kind of sadist too. Not nearly to that degree, but that I do know that during that shower scene in Psycho, he arranged for the water to turn ice cold during the knife part so that Janet Leigh's screaming was more pained and realistic. b, 21b, 21That's really fucked up about Friedkin though. I read Easy Riders, Raging Bulls and the parts about him were about how he grew up dirt poor in the Cabrini-Green projects in Chicago and had a thing for hookers.

And also the cursed horror movie set with a couple of deaths. It was an extra in the uncut version that they released about five or so yrs ago.

  • not so much a scary movie, but the music from Fargo is pretty creepy.

font class="post"1b,121b,121Man, whenever I heard that come on I had to get up and change the channel. Still one of the scariest sounding themes I can think of. It must have to do with being young cause it still sounds creepy to me.
