    this joe the plumber shit is insane. i assumed that the mccain campaign would drop it after "joe" was revealed to be a fraud, after it became obvious that "joe" does not exist. i understand (assume) that he has some sort of symbolic value to some people, but as a symbol he is absolutely empty on the inside. there's no real story to prop up this symbol. it seems to be indicative of the desperation in mccain's camp. mccain has become the 45 year old dude who argues that professional wrestling is real.

    Gergen almost had a seizure two nights ago on CNN when the showed clips of JTP talking about Israel. He just couldn't believe that McCain would allow this guy to speak about foreign policy. Disgraceful.

This is certainly down that path, even with the Smith "challenges." I mean, the point of all of this, I assume, was to repeat the ludicrous assertions five or six times, while tut-tutting and tongue-clicking, before decrying them after adding that FOX has received "many e-mails" that agree with Joe.b,121b,121And I'm still not sure what Smith meant at the end about "the rest of it." The rest of Obama's beliefs, or Joe the Wurzelbacher's?

    Jesus, are you ever slanted. Even when FOX dissects a thin argument and makes the slanderer look foolish, you're still upset because they're repeating remarks, which is akin to brainwashing? Dude, black and white exists sometimes, take it easy.

    ^^ you know that's a great point, McCain has sold out a lot of his integrity but at least the man keeps his word. To give him even more credit, it's not over, but for some reason i was thinking of him walking home from the subway. Felt bad for him, he got dicked over by Rove and his own party in '00 and yet still he sold away the dream for one last shot. As apalling as he is now, you have to wonder how much better the past eight years would have been w/ him instead of Bush.

Brainwashing is a very aggrandized, LaRoucheian way to put it, but there it lies, in your own words.b,121b,121Ostensibly, you have been absent from the numerous threads wherein I have called Barack Obama on, among other things, his lack of clarity, an early lack of presentational depth, his propensity to sell out his stances (FISA, the handgun ban, etc.) and his continued sky-high $$$ promises in troubled financial times. I have also clearly denoted my distaste for Keith Olbermann's hideous, manufactured consternation and (early on, before the media-whoring fully commenced) the Dems' attack on Mr. Wurzelbacher. I have additionally remarked that I have voted for more Republicans then Democrats in my lifetime. You and your ??Egalitarian Spirit! clearly do not understand where I am coming from. Simply because I am voting for Barack Obama and have taken a stand against the proven-fomentatory actions of FOX News does not mean that I am not my own man.
