This is in my neighborhood, and this whole story is beyond sketchy. In addition to the complete lack of swelling and broken blood vessels in the cheek and eye area, the 'B' being backwards and pretty damn cleanly cut (indicating a lack of a struggle?), waiting to file a police report, not going to a hospital (despite the front door to one being, literally, up the street)...b,121b, 21This happened at a pretty busy intersection on the busiest street in the Bloomfield neighborhood. I find it really hard to believe that this could happen at 9 PM and nobody saw or heard anything. And unless the mugger escorted her to her car, I don't know how he would have known it was hers that had the bumper sticker. Liberty Ave is pretty busy, and while it wouldn't be impossible to get a parking spot, it's not likely that your car would be the only one near your destination at 9PM...b,121b, 21b, 21Just my (and my community's) two cents, but it's ultra-suspect.
