    You can always mitigate solitary magpie observations with "Morning Mr. Magpie" or "Morning Captain". Perhaps our US bred can enlighten us to their Magpie/Luck trysts? If they haven't already shot all the magpies.b,121b,121Like Wordsworth's Daffodils, I often spot 10+ at a glance. I believe such observations are subject to free interpretation, like 22 = 11 Joys etc.

    What about superstitions in general? I would be wary about getting on a flight 666 on Friday 13th at 13:13 but other than that, none really.b,121b,121I'd even take they flight if they upgraded me..
