font class="post"1b,121b, 21This is a common refrain from you, Mr Soulhawk.b,121b,121Pray tell the story that leads to this bitterness.b,121b,121In return I will recount how I received the most battered, rinked frisbee of a 45 that you ever saw marked at VG++ from a US seller. Not that I'm still bitter about it........ img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /1b,121b,121Thanks

You'd think people would get that. b,121b,121With the McCants, I was reading that, at one point, it was thought there were only 2 copies in existence (one of which being an acetate). Rare, bro!

font class="post"1b,121b, 21no bitterness, simply a statement of fact about grading systems across the pondb,121b, 21to many US sellers VG+ basically means "a few lights scuffs", to UK northern dealers VG+ can often mean "scratched, manages to play through ok"b,121b, 21as I sell 45s to both UK & US buyers often I'll just skip from EX down to plain VG to avoid confusion
img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cos3ve.gif" alt="" /1b,121b, 21What an amazing soul tune.b, 21b, 21You get this strange feeling too when you realize that the voice coming through your speakers and the man making it in the recording studio was 24 and dying of a brain tumor. Its almost like this shouldn't exist, but all the planets were aligned just so, and thus it lives on.

ha, I wish. Anyway I thought Gymes' true ID was now known? I went to seem him DJ last year.b, 21b, 21Anyway I've been pretty low profile on ebay (by my standards) this year and will be even more so next year. I've now got some storage for my collection so will be rationalising that over xmas as it's been unsorted for almost 10 years. b, 21b, 21Time to get back to basics and get in those charity shops and car boots againb, 21b, 21img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sn.gif" alt="" /1
font class="post"1b, 21b, 21Agreed. But even though they kickass, imagine trying to explain to someone who's not obsessed with records that you spent 15k on two songs. Most people think that shit costs 99c!
