In Santa Fe for sure...but that's because it's surrounded by 3 mountain ranges and it's pretty much true because of the way the winds come in and just push the weather around like a small child.
b,121They probably say it at the Antarctic research base as well, just because it's relatively true.

font class="post"1b,121b,121You sure do post a lot for someone who recently declared their own farewell in order to pursue other hobbies. Model Trains got you down?
font class="post"1b,121b,121Um. Austin. Where've you been? All the good ol' boys I worked w/ in the homebuilding industry used to say this.

font class="post"1b,121b,121You serious? The weather stays exactly the same for like 5 straight months.b,121b,121I dunno, I've lived in the Bay Area...so I know what it means to think you can wear shorts, but end up wearing a winter coat by day's end. b,121b,121Or you walk 2 blocks and a cold, foggy sky turns clear and warm.b,121b,121IMO Austin simply doesn't compare.

font class="post"1b,121b,121It just depends on what time of year it is, I reckon. There are times when it is apt (which I guess is the point of this thread) and then times like from July 'til yesterday when it isn't.

font class="post"1b,121b,121Winter is seldom defined enough to be anymore than 3 scattered weeks of cold over the course of 2-3 months...I'll give you that.
font class="post"1b,121b,121heard that shit all the time in Fort Worth...in the winter it's true...the first time I heard thunder, saw lightning and saw snow falling at the same time it freaked me the F*ck out
