So I got a red bump on my arm after the shot, and the doctor told me to come back in for X-Rays. What's the likelihood that I would need treatment? (anti-biotics) for this shit? Input would be appreciated.

  • As a teacher I've been tested a bazillion times and know a lot of people that have been tested.b,121b,121My girl tested positive for the skin test. She got an x-ray. It was found to be inactive. Treatment was not required. I know at least two other people that went through the same thing. b,121b,121My sister is a Pharmacist. According to her, and her schooling, people with inactive tb should go through treatment which consists of taking meds for about a year. You are not allowed to drink alcohol during the treatment. b,121b,121I don't know anyone with inactive tb that has gone through treatment.

Alright that's cool. I'm hoping it's inactive because I don't have health insurance right now.
