at my rock night in Texas a few years back , this one dude would tip me $5 to play "Unchained", every week, like clockwork...as soon as he walked in he would drop a lincoln in my crate and say "you know what I wanna hear"..luckily I love that song.
DJing is one of the few professions that I know of where people think they can get what they want by insulting you. I mean, saying "Can you play something 'good'?!" is just a blatant insult. I don't understand why the fuck these people think this is a good tactic.
