font class="post"1b,121b,121"steinberger reggae" google search yields this enlightening discussion:b,121b,121a href="http://www.talkbass.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-163399.html" target="_blank"1http://www.talkbass.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-163399.html/a1b,121b,121Where the question "What's the best bass for reggae?" is narrowed down conveniently to the following few choices:b,121b,121- P-Bass strung with flatsb,121- Ovation Magnumb,121- A Jazzb,121- Rondob,121- Lakland Hollowbody bass- with flatsb,121- two humbucker Bongo "bass just hits you in your chest, and turns your stomach" b,121- Yahmaha (sic)b,121- Stingrayb,121- Bass Collection 301b,121- Alembic Essenceb,121- Any good bass should be fine for reggaeb,121b,121Cajun chef Justin Wilson is also headscratchingly namechecked in the discussion.b,121b,121But the most salient point was this:b,121b,121"Steinberger has been known to be THE REGGAE BASS of choice during the 80's and 90's - it's got the deep tone and it''s LIGHT AS HECK!"b,121b,121JIMSTER REDEEMED

font class="post"1b,121b,121b,121that verse is cringe-inducing on many levels. b,121b,121b,121I'm down with adopting the term zap'd to refer to Christian or also perhaps "Born-Again." Or maybe "touched deep inside" could work too.
