Man that's right up there with the "enema bandit".

  • That even made the newspaper here in Melbourne with the heading "Dog ate my Evidence".b,121Apparently, they couldn't confirm or charge the man with assault with a sausage because the dog ate it when the doode fled!! That made me laugh!!

If I were in the burglary game, this is definitely how I would roll.

b,121b,121Minus the part where you drop your wallet and are hanging out in a field pantsless, of course.

Then when they catch me, I'll be on some "Dude must have planted my wallet???I reported it missing last week. He said I robbed him? Yeah, well he also said I rubbed spices on him and smacked him with a sausage, and that don't make a lick of sense. Actually, I've been kicking it in this field all night looking for my pants."b,121b,121

My step-grandfather (long before I ever met him) was a cop in Detroit. His most publicized case was this one where a dude breaks into a house and the people who live there aren't home...so dude goes right ahead and makes spaghetti in their kitchen and then falls asleep on their couch. When the people eventually return home, they find dude asleep on the couch, sock him one, and then have him arrested. Dude then breaks out of the mental ward with the ole tie-some-sheets-together-and-drop-it-out-the-window trick and of course everyone expects him to return to the house for revenge. So my stepgrandfather stakes out the house, dude shows up, and gets shot the fusk up...end of story.
