b,121b,121Chicago. Five minutes from downtown. b,121b,121h,121
b,121b,121Hey that's your interpretation. I just said no one my hood(NYC) where in started discarded it decades ago.b,121b,121feel free to use it. b,121b,121h,121b,121b,121Sorry, I got a little argumentative there. I inferred hints of Harvey-esque chiding for my "hood-disconnectedness" from you and got testy. b,121b,121b,121I use dope from time to time. I came up in the late 80's/early 90's. "kick the ballistics" I can understand. "Dope" not so much.

Cats who look like The Realness movie.b,121b,121Slang(specifically Hip HOp) in the 80's had a short lived span back when i was comin up. Dudes dont use HYPE anymore and that lasted for a good minute. What happens is it gets picked up late by dudes outside of the original starting point, and dudes think it still is held as cool. But cats have already moved on to 3 new ways to describe somethin good. Like BUTTER was hot for a minute.b,121b,121It is what it is and ill always hatt, but feel free to express yourself. b,121b,121That shit is Crack.

If so, I suppose I do look like that, without the played 90's gear. b,121b,121Dope must have gotten stuck here in Chicago. Me and my hip-hop-oriented friends have used it for years. I haven't seen a lot of them in a while, so maybe they dropped and I didn't get the memo. I never thought of it as a played-out 90's-ism like "hype" or "phat." I figured it had stood the test of time, like "ill." b,121b,121 b,121b,121h,121
