b,121b,121Actually Nick I don't think there's a single element in this movie that you and hundreds of others haven't rehashed hundreds of times. Garbage.

b,121b,121Steely Dan, Hall & Oates, yacht rock, A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE, anything written by Frank Miller, and shoes made for 12-year-olds all seem to be big hits on this board, so I wouldn't be surprised.

b,121b,121The name is "Engrish". I'm sure the producers of the OG didn't realize that the title made no sense in actual English.b,121b,121I actually love the original! When I saw the Cage trailer, I threw up a little. b,121b,121Seriously though, check out the OG. It's a great Thai flick, one of a few:b,121b,121http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0263101/

b,121b,121Thank you! This movie has been around for almost a decade, and they decide that now is a good time to have the original directors re-make a movie that was a re-hash of every possible HK cliche from the late 80s to the present? Wow. Why not bring the directors over here and have them do a NEW story that rehashes all the same cliches? Are the studios bankrolling this stuff really that scared to take even a small chance on new material?? Who is clamoring for this kind of movie in a multiplex when you could concievably spend the next 6 months of your life watching existing films back to back, day after day, with the same exact plot and visuals? WHO?b,121b,121I blame Sarah Palin.

b,121b,121I actually had chin-length hair in '95. Not so swept-back receding hairline, though. These days, it's more of 50s thing.

I loved GBH, saw them many times BITDb,121b,121As for the drug, yes it is known as GHB, but because of the UK association with 'grevious bodily harm' it has also acquired the GBH tag.b,121b,121Nice wall pix!

b,121b,121Nah. As a foundation we don't really ride for GBH either. But since we're WGBH, we appreciate the play on letters. I have, however, been know to thump my tub while trying to shower drunk.
