The other post was gettin a little crowded so let's start afresh.b,121b,121Just rolled thru New Mexico this weekend and hit the thrift stores and antique spots in Albuquerque pretty hard. The Copa has a nice afro-ritmo cover of "Oye Como Va" on it and the label is outta Dallas. John Street Rockers is a local 'Burque hard rock terd but has some nasty up-tempo breaks on the finale track. Via Libre was a long shot on the bay and has excellent b-boy potential. b,121
b,121Not pictured here is the lone 45 snag of the trip: a mint copy of Village Caller's "Hector".
b,121b,121This other batch I picked up from a local store that just got a nice collection in recently. All this stuff worked out to about $7 each. That Yusef joint knocked me out my chair! I had no idea he had funky shit of this caliber. The Kenny Burrell has a slick cover of "burning spear".b,121
