Naw, not fronting on da fanz. i doubt this music was supposed to BANG. I'm not up on new shit or Chemical Brothers for that matter, so it was kind of fresh, if you can get past the pseudo-hoodlum action.

what the fuck are you talking about?
you sound mad.
so your point was - "I don't know anything about music, so this sounded pretty good to me"???
LOL@ people getting mad because somebody likes it.
nope. people were simply reacting to yuichi's suggestion that we were all e-thugging for not liking it:
"Oh man, those kids aren't real! My neighborhood hoodlums would take them! Plus, those beats aren't sampled from my favorite 60s soul record. Fuck that wack gay shit."
I think this vid is trying to channel that French civil unrest schitt from a while back.
YUP.
and keeping in mind the situation in the paris suburbs and the current political climate in France, this video is just the wrong move to make... fire for the flames for the right wingers, for sure...
Not my cup of tea but I always shake my head when people get angry over personal taste.
I'll read more thoroughly next time.
i usually woud agree with that statement... but today a shooting happened 10 feet from me resulting in a guy dying around the corner. this video and the song are the ultimate in inarticulate wasted garbage.
The video is intense. It shows the extremes of situations that are actually happening, everywhere every day, but offers no solution, no perspective, and has cool jackets. In other words it's being shocking for shock's sake, something I don't like at all.
They need to do more shit like this:
They've made some seriously great music, but I think their new-won fame might have gone to their head.
I guess we'll see when they drop the NEXT album...
If the aim of the video was to make me want to go out and slap the next gang of youths I see then I guess it was successful. Night on disco mountain stuck on loop wasn't doing anything for me either.
Naw. To ALL [/b] the peeps that are expressing their distate for this particular vid.
lol. surely your witty comment explains the inner thoughts of every one of us who doesn't like this song. not even admitted fans of this group are riding for this crap song dude.
Sayin. I've liked pretty much every Justice song I've heard (which is not many) but that song is ass. The video was interesting, I guess, but I agree that I wish it had a conclusion or a climax or something. It had some cool moments but without a point or a comment it's just ruffian-porn which, at my age, I'm mostly over now.
If that song came on at the club, I'd be throwing bottles at the DJ.

But the Soulwax "Phantom" remix? Yes please.
We had white labels of that at the distributor I used to work for. We had to dole them out one to each store because dudes were fiending and we didn't have many. I never got a change to hear it. It must be a monster.

Exactly how I understood it as well. The banlieue scenes, burning cars, going for people's pockets etc. I was treated to some of the latter last time in Paris. Obviously the video exaggerates everything ...
I'm not feeling the track though. Not out for Justice like Steven Seagal.

This is Greater Manchester Police video footage of about 1000 Glasgow Rangers fans wylin' out in Manchester City Centre last night after their team lost 2-0 to Zenit St. Petersburg in the UEFA Cup Final. It ain't pretty.

I thought the video was interesting to watch... certainly better than any rap videos i've seen lately.
Run before the rap mafia come chasing after you.

high praise indeed
That's what i'm saying. Marching band field formations all day too.
this music shit is serious business kid
get your game up
Video is a first-year film student's masturbation fantasy of their favorite parts from classic movies. Weak.
