There's a few more '80s releases that I have boxed up somewhere, in addition to a grip of acetates from Reese's estate. I think I mentioned to Reese that his numbering system made things very difficult for the casual discographer. He didn't care. The real question remains: What happened to the duffel bags full of tapes that I left on Laramie?

You really owe it to yourself to see the Little Criss & the Righteous Singers' 1972 appearance on Jubilee Showcase down at the Harold Washington Library. My man looked to be about 16 years old then, and he's KILLIN' IT on the guitar, on some serious Magic Sam/Ike Turner steez. Can't recommend this enough.
The library actually has all the eps of this local gospel show on file. Knowing you, Luck, you might want to block off an entire day so you can see all the classic gospel acts back in the day that you only know from records. But you HAVE to see the Little Criss thing; watching a rerun of it in the '80s was a step towards making me a gospel fan today. (I think I might still have the videotape...)

I heard about that one. The same thing happened to me with a few LPs - I immediately called the CTA bus retrieval folks, who flagged down the specific driver at the bus terminus. They actually did a damn good job - until I found the LPs at my house. I hadn't taken them with me, after all. Of course, I didn't tell them that.
