Hey, so I was looking at the Josie discography and it dawned on me "oh shit, there are a shitload of 45s on Josie that I don't even know. I'm wack!" I did, way back earlier in the thread. And the 45 had a lost rockabilly classic on the flip side, "That's How Much I Love You, Baby."
Yeah, everytime I see that one in used stores I wonder how they got away with that, back in that uptight era.

Well, you did mention "swamp rock" and "Huey Meaux," so without hearing it I can tell that it might be up my alley!
If you're going to use that criteria to disqualify a record, there are going to be a LOT of them, including the Cyril Neville, about half the records on the Sansu label, most of Lee Dorsey's later stuff, and on, and on, and on...
Right, but we're only talking about "non-Meters" 45's on Josie[/b], not
any other label, and Cyril Neville was already DQ'ed above for the same
reason. But don't think I'm all that worked up over it, just saying, Cyril
Neville and Willie West are at least in a way Meters 45's.

And to be clear, I was just saying not Meters as an artist 'cause I know those tunes and a buncha dudes chiming in voting for "hey last minute" wouldn't really wouldn't really be all that educational. However, if there is another track backed by the meters on that label that isn't Cyril or Willie West, I'd love to know about it!
