i bet there are george duke lps that i'd like. i just think that his mps stuff is somehow overrated. even the here & now lp that most people tend to like.
i've seen save the country, but can't remember the music.
none of them costs more than 25 euro if i remember correctly. i do not kid!
you are right, some of them are not that good but if something is expensive and rare doesn??t mean that ist good.
if you don??t have a million dollars you have to dig through dollar bins somtimes...
Millions.... don't understand what you mean... IMHO 'Inner Source' remains great whether it costs 1 euro or 500. The price is irrelevant. Totally. However, this item won't cost 500 euros. I'm saying the usual price is 50. Grope says 10 to 25. Thats fine, you are in the home market and I am not.
Next time you find it for peanuts, share your good fortune! I buy mint at 20 Euros. Hit me! sorry for the confusion. i messed it up a bit... what i wanted to day is that there are some Duke LP's taht are not so good.
the other thing i wanted to say to Grope is that there are nice records that cost just a little and there are expensive/rare records that are poor.

just because a record is less than 25 bucks doesnt mean that it is bad...
Who was the first ever to start those photo ops with an army of ivories ala herbie-sunlight...repping his technology like a young ferris bueler! mmmmbowbow I always love those pics, the technology moves to fast now to even document it anymore. Billy Gibbons has a book showing off his excessive rides w/ tech from the 80s and it reminds me of that too, He's really got a vcr back there.
He really is nice on the keys. His work on Cannonball's Black Messiah album is really impressive. But yeah, he tends to lean heavy toward that 120bpm jazz/rock fusion freak out shit. It's no surprise he recorded a couple LP's with Billy Cobham, because I feel the same way about his drumming.

Almustafa the beloved
Yeah, that's a good track. Most of those late-70s Elektra disco releases are good.
