Day jobbers-How does your company keep track of your time? This was just installed at my job...I don't really mind it, but the people who seemed to bitch about it the most seemed to be the ones who lie on their time sheets. And on another note...I couldn't access one of the main chromatography forums online, and our IT guy was saying he couldn't get to any of his tech forums. Seems anything with a message board or forum, in addition to Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, and Ebay, etc. has been blocked by whatever program the company's just started using. But SS wasn't blocked! Any chromatographers on here in case I have questions?John

    no time cards...str8 salary

Yeah, at my job I started out on the clock until
I got promoted and put on salary. The day I was told
not to punch the clock anymore was pretty sweet, I have
    always hated that thing.

My work is switching from weekly pay to twice a month,
which has me seriously bummed out. I am all about the weekly.

They're even making the salaried employees use the scanner.

My paydays changed from twice a month to every other Friday. Works out a lot better.

they wanted to put one in at my old work. All the guys in the warehouse were like fuck that!. In the end they ran out of money to do it. Scanning my thumb prints at work would make me feel like i worked in a prison.
