That Burt Bacharach thread inspired me.BJ Thomas "Raindrops Keep Falling In My Head", and that Lou Rawls "You'll never find..." tune. I remember REALLY liking those tunes as a toddler, and I still feel all warm and fuzzy when I hear those songs.

    booker t and the mg's - hip hug-her

those were my two first favorites. "hip hug-her" was on the Northen Exposure soundtrack cd that my mom listened to all the time when i was younger. i remember one night i put the song on repeat and listened to it probably 20 times while playing with some toys.

"My Life" by Billy Joel. My parents bought me the LP, which is now either in a landfill or a dollar bin.

    Hey,

It's probably "Fly Robin Fly" by Silver Connection. I had my dad buy me the 45rpm from Doc's Shop (big up Aberdeen, Maryland) since I liked it from the radio. I was around 5 years old. Damn I miss the 70's, Bata bullets sneakers, baby afro, cutoff shorts, three-stripe socks, tank tops, the sandbox, discarded porno mags in the woods, and great radio. Nostalgia...

    Peace,

    Big Stacks from Kakalak
