I cant seem to get it to work. I plug into it w/ the cable modem cord and it doesnt pick up the station base. Im gonna play w/ it some more and figure it out. I might need to deal w/ Cablevision to figure out some of the configurations.
I got it going, but now i have to find a way to secure it.
Should be locked by default, no? That's how mine was set up automatically with my given password.
When i check what wireless networks are available nearby, it shows my Apple Airport w/out a Lock Icon. Im scurred its not secured like the other ones floatin' around in my vicinity.

Yeah, OK, there should be an option to lock it up in the wireless preferences.

You'll need an interface. I use an earlier version of this one, which works well, but there are a ton out there. Most come with free software (Cubase is common), but you can use the device with simple, free editing software like Audacity as well.
