classic break id- apologies forthcoming

I've been delaying posting this for weeks because I thought it would come to me, but alas, I just can't remeber where these drums are from.

A bit embarassing considering that they're classic, but I just can't pin it down.

Anyone that can help will earn my eternal thanks, grandpashig status.

    yeah thats what i thought at first too, but they have 16th hihats and they dont have this little tom fill.. this is the headhunters god made me funky break, those two are pretty identical in sound tho!

    Lee, if you're interested the track is from an anime series called "samurai champloo", specifically from the "impression ost" of the series, put together by some dudes called force of nature.
