    is there a schism in the Credible Hip Hop camp here....?

    And does cursing and other inflammatory tactics on records make them non-credible?
    And who decided what's credible? The 'market'? The cognoscenti?

    I may have to revisit my whole record collection to check if my tastes are credible or not
    maybe cross-reference them against the Hipster Approved list

    Because of course that is what's most important here.

    That you know enough about someone's culture to JUSTIFY your hate for it.

    Justified hip-hop, that's just as good.

    Privileged Hop...but that kinda starts merging with Scion Hop...ah, might as well.

    What I personally refer to it as nowadays is: Old Hat Hip-Hop for Dorks I'd Rather Not Be Around.
