    Wow.....hard to believe the KKK's fashion sense was influenced by a religious celebration in Spain.......but obviously true.

    Wow.....hard to believe the KKK's fashion sense was influenced by a religious celebration in Spain.......but obviously true.

    Not so hard to believe, when you consider that the 15th century
    was the time of the Inquisition, and a time in Spain's history when
    Jews and Muslim Moors were completely banished from the land by law.

    I can see them taking inspiration from that, although that would also
    mean that they were carrying on Catholic traditions, which I'm pretty
    sure the KKK ain't too down with.

    You guys can't tell the difference between Spanish religious folk and the KKK? I guess I take this shit for granted being a student of art I'm exposed to these things. The analysis of how the KKKs fashion sense was inspired by the inquisition is interesting though. Never thought about it.
