Was grooving to the 'Sunshine Hit Me' debut album in the car yesterday, which led inevitably to their equally brilliant 'Octopus'.Who else is feeling the eclectic Kinks-y/roots/dub/indie/r'n'b these guys throw down?

    A friend of mine has a 2 x 7" release of theirs, and one of the tracks kicks off with the nicest bumpin hip-hop break... if yuo only heard that part you'd swear it was some vintage ish.

    Totally. You get the impression the Bees know their records. They know how to get the right analog/vintage sounds.

    "Got to Let Go" has been in heavy rotation in my DJ sets this year. Awesome song. Really cool album.

    there is a track the bees did with aspacts which is really dope. forgot the name of the title though...
