I turned around and then I looked at my crew Because I know he didn't say what I thought he said And if he did I'm gonna have his head on a platter The suckas scattered When we got ill The brother who tried to front he got his cap peeled And his homies they got mad But they soon broke out Because of what we had

Whoa! I was just bumpin' this the other day and was gonna start a thread requesting examples of Homie Love in Hip Hop. No, silly, not no ghey shit, more like this:
Total-Kaos broke out and said let's go to the movies he was paying so I wasn't being choosy [/b]
I don't know about y'all, but when your friend offers to take you to the movies, that's love.Straight up.
But yeah, this album is a personal classic. Has been since day one.
the first full length i had by ATL was on the label "orpheus" i was never able to find this version of it again and i thought this version was better, if anyone can hook me up with that i would be greatful.

Do you know what it's like to be addicted to funk
you see black is my religion and my status is drunk.....
And I've been bumping "V.S.O.P." the last couple of weeks. Very fine...
The first album is a classic. The later LPs got good tracks too, but are a bit more patchy IMO.
