I am having flashbacks where I smell someone's grandma.
Yea, like i said mothballs and cedar chips, but this can be grandpa too.
"You kids like Lawrence Welk?"
He's talking about his dude who came up to me at SA in Petersburg* and told me about his huge valuable collection of 'jazz'. He kept them in his garage. Meticulously cleaned and placed in thick plastic sleeves. Apparently he had a snake living the garage, so he put thousands of mothballs all over the floor. It was about 110 degrees and we were wheezing and choking on the toxic fumes. Dude had the complete Welk, 101 strings, etc. discographies. You name it. I gave it a good effort hoping for the Space 101 strings or some shit, but nothing. I almost died. Pulled the Martin Denny 'Taste of India' and fell into the car. I needed to go directly to an eyewash station. Motherfucker didn't even have a Ramsey Lewis record. He was really nice, but I wanted to kill him.
*ps there are NO records in Petersburg. keep driving.

I work at a CSI lab here in SF and I ran your image through some of our equipment. I did a few zooms and tried to clarify something that I thought I could see hiding. Turns out I was right. Hope this helps you decide whether or not to go to that estate sale. PM me with any donations or trades.
