Hey everybody,Just wanted to drop a note to say that I have made a bunch of updates to my website @ www.midwest45.org in the past month. The website is devoted to gospel, funk, and soul 45s from the Midwest if you are unfamiliar. Trying to keep adding stuff regularly. Enjoy!http://www.midwest45s.orgThanks,Scott

I'm completely clueless when it comes to Iowa. Does Iowa have soul records? I know of that Success label but that's about it. Wish I could rep the Midwest more fully!
I wish I could too! I think all of my friends from the square are coming here that weekend, and I am somewhat obiligated to go to a chi-housewarming.

there are a handful of decent 45's out of iowa. im sure dante could shed some light on it...
tom tourville released a bunch of midwest garage/rock discographys in the late 80's/early 90's including one titled iowa rocked, he also released one on the igl discography seperatly, even though the books were garage/rock discographies there were a few soul/funk titles included, they pop up on ebay every once in a while, sometimes selling for around $50-$75
by the way that midwest 45's is a great site, i i check that out from time to time, you've got some great tunes on there, nice job and thanks for sharing
is wisconsin in the midwest? cause if so my favorite midwest soul 45's are 7 sounds ltd and the step-by-step 45, wich i could find good mp3s of those.
