IMG src=http://www.o-dub.com/images/albino.jpg>whats the general consensus on this record? i got a copy last week and listened once straight through, i still havent decided how i feel about it. cool idea no doubt and, IMO pretty nicely put together. i could do without the straight reggae drums for most of the album, but it seems like they were trying something different, which i can appreciate. admittedly i wasnt totally familiar with the record prior to buying it on a whim (the tracklist, and it being on kama sutra sealed the deal), but i definitely recognized the name of the band and cover enough to take a chance on it.how do you guys feel about this one? doesnt seem to be talked about much.

For the most part. Psychedelic Shack is the only track on there worth it.
HMMMMM....I have a copy and I haven't played it yet.
that's about right... i own it and have listened to it about 3 times in y years...
one of those records where the cover/name/tracklist are better than the actual record...
The lead singer left some info on the record in the reviews section:

yikes, not the best spelling in the world, but nice to see who the players were. i knew chuck rainey was involved, but that was it. thanks.
p.s. thanks a lot for your reviews on this site. i tend to use them a lot when trying to figure out if i should take a chance on a record or not. very helpful stuff.
I'm just glad people actually read em!
