    i'm at work with no computer at home. i have a ton of 45s i've recorded on cd and loaded into my computer here but there is no way for me to upload

    get this: http://www.snapfiles.com/download/dlaudacity.html
    then just get an RCA to 1/8" stereo conversion cord @ radioshack.
    plug one end to a REC output on your reciever (or even an output on your mixer)
    plug the other end into your computer mic input if you don't have an M-box.
    then record some records
    then share with us.

    damn! how do you do it?? i wish i could do that. i'm always working on mine at home, but the internet consumes way too much of my spare time...

    I am in front of one all damn day, so the last thing I want to do is get in front of one at night, so I don't miss it. But it is times like this I really wish there was one at home...to make mixes too. When folks ask me for CDs when I play out, I have to say - "Do you have a cassette player?" and it's pretty much downhill from there.
